Transavia.com

Transavia.com was established at the end of 1965, by a Belgian and a Scotsman under the name Transavia Limburg N.V., with its home base at Maastricht Aachen Airport. On 14 November 1966 the company was licensed to operate charter flights from Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport.
Since December 2004 the company has no longer been known as Transavia airlines and Basiq Air, but has changed its name to Transavia.com. This is because the Transavia.com website had become so important for the company that it wished to include it in its name. The company's home base is Schiphol and it flies around 4.5 million passengers to holiday destinations in Europe and Africa every year.

Efficiency demands centralisation

Transavia.com wanted to centralise its European customer service in order to improve efficiency and save costs. The aim was to serve all its European customers from the Contact Centre.
In order to achieve this, Transavia.com chose The Sound of Data as its partner. The main reasons for this choice were The Sound of Data’s experience and expertise in international telephony and the options it offered for coordinating international traffic. The Sound of Data now provides all Transavia.com’s international premium-rate numbers and call transfers to the Contact Centre in Paris or Prague.

Ultimate flexibility in data management

The Sound of Data web environment enables Transavia.com to switch call transfers in each country in the event of emergencies or peak usage. The system also provides Transavia.com with easily accessible information on the number of callers for each country and each period.
This solution allows Transavia.com to optimise the use of its resources and respond more quickly to customers. The result is a clear win-win situation for everyone involved.
